Accessible Hospital Travel
Providing accessible travel with support for wheelchairs and scooters.
- We have volunteers that are able to drive our vehicles.
- Featuring : 1x Accessible Car & Multiple Minibuses.
It works very similarly to the Voluntary Car Service, we still ask for as much notice as possible, and we need to know how long you will be.
The charges are £12.50 each way, and we still charge an admin fee to cover some of the costs to the office.
Hosptial Shuttle Bus (pilot)
We are very pleased to announce we have been successful in our grant application for a pilot for Hospital Shuttle Bus! We are working on this and will have this up and running soon, so when you book hospital transport you may be allocated on to the shuttle bus. We are starting with one day a week so we can make sure it works as well as possible for our passengers. This is an exciting step for us as we are working on hospital transport for the long term, there are days where we cannot accommodate all bookings and we are working on solutions to this. We’re very grateful to the National Lottery for giving us this opportunity and can’t wait to develop the pilot so we can help even more passengers!
